Is there a typical Start U Up client?

ANSWER:

Each client requires different services. Some need the entire spectrum of Start U Up services and some may only need help with a specific component. We cater to the individual needs of our clients.

How long before launching a business should I contact and retain Start U Up?

ANSWER:

Start U Up recommends that we be retained three months prior to the start of any new business. Depending on the size and complexity, additional time may be needed.

Once the business is started up, can Start U Up be retained for other services?

ANSWER:

We provide additional services to support a business as it matures. Whether help is required because of growth, an adjustment in the business plan, or unforeseen circumstances, you can leverage our experience at any point and for any executive management service.

How often does Start U Up update the client?

ANSWER:

The success of each project is dependent upon the communications between Start U Up and the client. As each project progresses, decisions need to be made by the client. At each critical juncture the client receives e-mail updates. Meetings are scheduled for a more comprehensive review.

We arrange appointments to meet your needs, whether early mornings, nights or weekends.

Is Start U Up a confidential service?

ANSWER:

Trust is an essential component of Start U Up; everything we do for a client is strictly confidential. We will not release names and company information for items such as contracts and credit checks until we are given the client’s expressed permission.

How many quotes are received for each service?

ANSWER:

Two quotes are obtained for every service or installation. The quotes are summarized by Start U Up, and then presented to the client for approval. Additional quotes can be obtained after Start U Up’s assessment or by a client’s request.

How is Start U Up paid for its services?

ANSWER:

Upon signing a contract, the client pays a retainer against which all fees are charged. A statement detailing the charges against the retainer is mailed monthly. When the retainer deposit is depleted, an additional retainer deposit is expected.

How much does Start U Up’s services cost?

ANSWER:

Each engagement is unique. Some clients require more assistance than others. Start U Up and the client agree on the budget before any work commences. Fees are charged against a retainer deposit.

Will Start U Up work with a client’s previously retained vendors or professionals?

ANSWER:

Since Start U Up is vendor neutral, and receives no commissions or fees, we will work with the service providers requested by a client. We can assist the client in dealing with lawyers, accountants, real estate agents, or any previously selected vendor.
