Jeff Glick has more than 20 years of financial, administrative, and logistics
management experience. He is personally familiar with how experience and
a network of resources saves valuable time and capital and avoids potentially
wrong decisions.
As Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of Almaz USA,
Inc — an international commodity trading and brokering firm — Jeff became
accustomed to the
countless decisions regarding information technology, communications,
human resources, finance, operations, and facilities management that
must be made on a daily basis. His contributions toward improving cost-effectiveness
while an Internal Auditor for Merrill Lynch earned him the Chairman’s
Commitment to Excellence Award. Jeff also applied his CPA skills as
a Back Office Manager and Manager in the Mergers and Acquisition department
of Phibro, the oil trading and refining arm of Salomon Brothers. At
Phibro,
Jeff developed his own systematic approach (Prioritize, Plan, Analyze,
Integrate, Execute, and Review) to developing infrastructure plans.
Jeff holds a BS in accounting from The State University of New York
at Binghamton, and has been a standing member of the American Institute
of
Certified Public Accountants Association since 1985. He is active
on the boards of many local community organizations, including Darien
Youth
Hockey,
for which he is also a sponsor.
